The other night I drove to the store. My Jeep seemed to run fine. When I got in the car and tried to start it I got nothing. All the interior lights work but the starter will not crank. No clicking. Nothing. I made sure it was in park, turn the key to the on position, and got under the car and used a piece of wire to jump the leads on the starter. It cranked the engine over several times (5-10 sec) but no start. I can hear the fuel pump prime the system when the ignition is first turned on.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Neutral safety switch?
Tried to start in neutral. Check cables and connections around shifting lever
Oh yeah, I also checked all fuses and relays.
