The D transmission light in the instrument pod has quit. all the others ie P,R,LD etc are fine. The Honda dealer in Bellingham WA said: “Well we have to remove the dash to get at it and that is a lot of labor. You would be advised to replace the whole set will you’re at it.” Cost $500!#@*
Any advice to offer me?
The dash doesn’t require removal. Just the instrument panel and this held on by four screws. Remove the screws, pull the panel out far enough to unplug the electrical connectors from the back and remove the panel. Turn the panel over and replace any burned out lamps.
