'02 ford escape gas pedal problem = recall -?

hi, i have an 03 ford escape. it has had severl recalls (5 i think - not kidding). one of those recalls was for a problem with the acelerator/gas pedal. i believe the car was acelerating on its own. perhaps your caller should check to see if this recall applies to the '02 model escape.
