Something about this car reminds me of my first car. I needed a car in college because I was working on a field study, so my Dad bought me a 64 Volkswagen Bug, this was 1977 or so. I knew how to drive an automatic but this car was a stick and there were a lot of hills between my dorm and the field study. He and my brother brought it down and left it without even giving me a lesson. The name she got was “Dammit”. Somehow, I’ll bet you’ve even called this car that name, or worse, a time or two!
