Wiper fuse blown

I turn my wipers on and the fuse blows. I see wire insulation missing but only the size of a pinhead.

Missing insulation will not blow a fuse. The wire would have to be touching something else where the insulation is missing to cause a shorted circuit.

Try unplugging the wiper motor. If the fuse still blows the problem is in the wiring harness. If the fuse doesn’t blow the problem is probably the motor.
