I don’t know what to tell ya, pal/pallet. Find yourself a junkyard and see what they got. Otherwise, learn the art/craft of polymer/adhesive application and patch the old one.
Define “too expensive”. A new one will set you back $75 from autozone or advanced auto, or $85 from O’Reilly. As far as car repairs go, that’s pretty damn cheap.
Radiator hose bandage tape might be just your ticket, it sticks on wet surfaces.
