Window Channel Lube

Recently replaced the driver’s side window sash clips on a 2003 Olds Alero. (power windows)

Both clips were completely snapped.

Did some online searching and read that the old clips broke due to a lack of lubrication within the window channels. Seems possible. I then read to use dry teflon lube but the channels in this particular car have furry stuff coating the channels. I found another site that said to use powder to lubricate the fur-covered channels.

Should I go with the powder?

Graphite powder is what I’d use.
I have in front of me a plastic tube of ‘Lub-a-Spray’ Dry Graphite Lubricant.

Excellent! I actually have some of that in the garage.
