I bought a reman starter for my 05 endeavour put it on n go to start it n all it’s doing is spinning it’s not engaging to flywheel , I pull it off do a home test n the Bendix is engaging n working properly , I take it to Auto zone do a bench test with computer n it checks out but when I put it on it does not work I’m getting proper amps to all wires n ignition Battery is putting out 13 plus v. O cleaned the area for proper ground … Still jus spinning I tried returning the starter but can’t cause it checks out as a workin unit
Have you checked the flywheel to make sure there are any teeth on it for the starter to engage to ?
Yes on both the starter n the flywheel , teeth are in great shape
