I drive German - regardless of which country I reside - I pass to the left.
The “pass anywhere” mentality of states where it is allowed encourages chaos as far as I’m concerned, but hey, these are the United States of A(narchy)!
Again. that is the speed LIMIT. That does not mean you must be, or have to be, doing it at all times.
I used to be a PSL+5 driver, on local streets and highways, years ago, and found that to be a brake-checking, lane switching nightmare. Nooo thanks!
Do you set your stovetop to High at all times, regardless of what you may be cooking?
Do you set the volume of your radio, TV, or other device to max at all times when using them?
Ergo, it is ok to drive or ride below PSL. You should not feel ashamed or pressures for doing so.
It’s alllll- right!
Think some of you folks need to get out more if you haven’t seen lower limits for trucks. They seem to get up to 70 in Minnesota and close to 80 in South Dakota, speed limiters or not.
