Which rare or unusual cars have you seen recently?

Yes, but the rear suspension of the van was never updated.

Not that I’ve seen this, but the 2025 Porsche Le Mans car is one ugly unit, made clear in this comparison to a classic Porsche:

I think they both look like alien invaders in a cheap sci-fi flick.

This afternoon, I was passed (like a bat out of h-e-l-l) by a Rolls-Royce Spectre coupe with Florida plates. I think that this model might be the only current 2 door vehicle with suicide doors.

The one that I saw was painted flat/no-gloss charcoal color, which can’t be very practical in Florida–in addition to being (IMO) not attractive.

Could that have been anyone who @Mustangman knows?

Take a closer look… Those are New Jersey plates! Wait, that wasn’t the actual car you saw, right?

But we seem to have a lot of black cars here in the Sunshine State… Me included! Some of us can park in our garages… like I bet that flat black Roller can!

No, that wasn’t the one that I saw. Even if it is normally garaged, flat charcoal/black paint must absorb a lot of heat from the sun in parking lots.

If its like Tesla theres a mode to keep the interior to a set temp when parked.

Nice Mg midget on a sunset cruise tonight. Theres the occasional RR Ghost thats seen in town. After you see a dual cowl phaeton VW bug drive past daily the bar for unusual gets taised. Street parked downtown the lady sightings pre covid.

Of all the Bug variants, that’s a new one on me.

There have been a few of them built but it caught my eye when it first drove past. Daily driven at the time.

A matter of personal taste, I really dislike any “slammed” vehicle. Low riders with hydraulics are okay.

I’m guessing the green two tone pickup is on bags and is only that low when parked. The owner raises it to drive. I like it. Nice wheels too.

I 100% agree, and what a sweet ride…

I do wonder if it is on hydraulics or air, I’m going with air, don’t see any battery’s…

It would be even cooler if the tanks and pumps were in that cooler/chest…

I’d like to read up on the build of the truck if anyone finds any info on it…

I’ll add a couple more oddities that I’ve seen lately at the local Cars & Coffee.

The Packard wagon is on my wish list.

I had to look again. Known as Lancer wheel covers, popular on 50&60s custom cars.

Cool Lancers. Especially the convertible. Love that two tone.

I can totally see that thing cruising down Ocean Ave. in the Wildwoods!

I preferred the Dodge variant of 57-59 “forward look”, allowed great two tones. Though I would not refuse any other Mopar of that era.
