Which rare or unusual cars have you seen recently?

Could the RR you saw be a Mansory custom car? Here’s a Cullinan on their website.

Yes, that is very possible.

Today, I saw a well-preserved Ford Probe “GT” with historic vehicle plates. I remember the Ford Probe, but haven’t seen one in years. However I don’t recall a “GT” version. Anyone here have any information about that?

Gt had the Mazda built 2.5V6 shared with the MazdaMX-6 twin.

You can read about the GT here. As @wolyrobb said, the 2.5L is a Mazda engine.

There’s an older Subaru Baha down the street.

I found a test-drive of a Cullinan Black Badge, and I think it’s interesting.
I particularly liked the detail that all of its 664 lb ft of torque is available at only 1,700 RPMs.

Impressive car. I’ll take two. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I’d like to see a power curve to see how the torque rolls off as the horsepower climbs. If it’s a flat torque curve, maxing out at 1700 ft-lbs might not mean much.

Most of it is from 1,000-1,700rpm, flat until it.drops at higher rpm. Steep curve to peak tq . according to the chart i’ve found.

1700 rpms…

Gotta love them turbos, but it needs those big numbers to move that 6,000 pound beast… lol

Oops! Yeah, rpm’s. According to @wolyrobbs post, the torque curve is flat. At 5000 rpm, the torque only drops to about 590, still a huge number.

On my Costco run this morning, I spied a new Aston-Martin DBX in my rear view mirror. Fortunately, Costco was also his destination, so I got to view it close-up, and it was impressive… except for the orange color paint. I think that this red color would be preferable. But, as long as the owner likes an orange vehicle, who am I to judge?

The vehicle’s specs–and its astronomical price–are really impressive, IMO.

If I saw this vehicle on the road, I would assume it’s a Chrysler or maybe a Hyundai. Unless I was close enough to see the Aston Martin logo, I would have no idea that’s what it is.

If you drive through Scottsdale, you’ll learn a lot about way-too-expensive vehicles.

‘cargo-and-family-friendly’!

Saw a Triumph Stag with it’s original engine at the local Cars & Coffee

Is that an MG T-series next to the Stag? They are rare these days too.

Yep, with those wheels I think it’s a MG-TF.

The headlights on the car in the picture are not part of the fender. TCs and TDs had seperate lights.. with the wheels and lights, I’d say it is an MG TD

That Stag is special. As rare as Stags are, one with a Triumph V8 still in it is rarer still!
