Time to stop beating the dead Horse,Horses ruin pasture,probaly one reason they have the Mustang roundup each year,there does seem to be some evidence that some cancers are spread by virus,some bottomland snails seem to have a connection,we had a rash of people contracting cancers along a certain river bottom,riparian area.

I don’t think anyone is. Just showing that a modern industrialized society is NOT without it’s own problems that have caused millions of deaths over the years. We spent a lot of time and research into eradicating Small Pox and other diseases. Sure we’re spending BILLIONS in cancer research…but the best prevention is to eliminate the cause. There are so many environmental causes of cancer it may be impossible…most of those environmental causes didn’t exist 100 years ago.
I think some would be unpleasantly surprised to see how quickly a modern city would become hell on earth without modern plumbing.
The cities could NOT become the size they are without modern plumbing. NYC would probably be less then 100k people. Now way could the city support many more without modern plumbing.
Yes diseases like Smallpox killed a lot of people…but by the 1800’s a vaccine was already developed. Antibiotics cures the black plague.
