I have a 1989 plymouth sundance. The gas isn’t getting to the engine, what could be the problem?
You said it: the gas isn’t getting to the engine. Your mechanic needs to confirm this assumption with a fuel pressure check, and other checks. If it really isn’t, the fuel filter is the first suspects. After that, there are other suspects. See Mr. Haynes, or Mr. Chilton’s, for details.
Selena- no offense, but are you sure you’re not out of gas? Gas gauge been working ok recently that you know of; and it says you have say, at least 1/8 tank; or at least not right next to E? What did you do to determine that gas isn’t getting to engine?
