I am confused… What cc is the Mercedes c200 cdi? I hear it is 2200 but wouldn’t that make it a c220?
Mercedes hasn’t been too strict with their engine displacement-based model numbers in a while. They still want to have the bigger model number=higher end car, but in these days of turbochargers and other high-tech doodads, the best cars they make don’t necessarilly have the highest displacement engines any more. So, to answer your question, I don’t know. I’m sure some of the Benz enthusiasts on this board will tell you soon.
The model number ratio to engine displacement is not an exact science. Anymore, it kind of ballpark.
Numbers for the car are:
2148 c.c displacement
11.7 seconds to 60 mph
129 mph top speed
48 miles per gallon on a good day.
