The air conditioner in my 1998 C70 Volvo has started making noise. It sounds like water rushing around. Once lately it stopped cooling briefly, but I turned it off and when I turned it back on it worked. Is something “plugged up”?
Most likely, the condensate drain is clogged. If you can locate it underneath the car (most likely in line with the firewall, on the passenger side), you can clean it out with a length of weed trimmer line.
