Thanks to a good local mechanic, I seldom make it to the dealership, but just recently did so for my timing belt replacement. The dealer caught my car up on a few recall items, one of which was the replacement of the ignition coils.
I just want to say to fellow Jetta owners - this completely resolved a long time power lag I use to experience when accelerating. And the idle is now silk smooth. I highly recommend getting the recall done if you haven’t yet.
