Does anyone have experience – good or bad – with the relatively new VW Eos Convertible? I have the chance to buy a 2007 and can’t find much info-- thx.

I didn’t think the seats felt all that comfortable in the Eos.
How about a little controversy?
I suggest you look at a Camry Solara convertible. If you’re happy just oozing down the road, this is a great car. It is quiet, too. Test drive one and see if you like it.
I looked at Consumer Reports and it isn’t a bad risk that you are taking and the crash tests have been better than good. There isn’t much info on it but it is based on the jetta which has average reliability but the EOS requires premium fuel.
