My spouse is ISO a new vehicle. The Volvo C30 has come across his radar screen. Has anyone been able to see/test drive this new model, or have any opinion about this car or Volvos in general? We’ve never owned a Volvo and have been pleased w/ the 4 Hondas we have owned. Since I bought a new 06 civic, he wants something different.
The C30 popped up in the last Car and Driver. Not a full review but as a future competition for the GTI/WRX crowd who like a little more sport in their drive. It looked sharp and knowing the Volvo name I wouldn’t hesitate to buy. Maybe wait for the first year jitters to get worked out though!
The reliability has a chance of being worse than average. Consumer Reports intends to test one.
