I have a2002 Dodge Ram Truck 1/2-ton. The problem is with the passenger side automatic window switch. Most of the time it wont work from the switch on the passenger door side. It always works with the switch on the drivers side. I have taken things apart and cleaned the terminals etc,but it still only works some of the time from the passenger side. Can anybody give me any ideas on what could be wrong with this,and how I can fix it?
Is the lockout on the driver’s door, that disables the passenger door switch, working correctly? Cycle it a bunch of times, clean out its contacts, etc.
Get some electrical contact cleaner and spray it in the switches. Follow the instructions on the can.
