I am looking at 2 cars of the same make doge neons one is 2005 with 150k miles one is 2002 with 90k. If the price is similar witch is the better bet?
The one in the best condition. It is likely to be the 2002, but you can’t tell without an inspection. Take a close look at the interior, exterior, trunk, and engine bay of both. Listen to them with the hood up to see if you hear anything unusual. Drive them to see which one handles the best. You are looking for steering/suspension issues and engine/transmission issues. Pick the one you like best and take it to a trusted maechanic for a prepurchase inspection. Expect to pay for it, and it is worth it.
