In earlier posts here and elsewhere, I was asking if there was any way to test the Starter/Generator Control Module on an 07 Vue Hybrid- U0120= lost communication with Starter/Generator Control Module-Some folks said just take it to dealer-
Finally gave up trying to find some one to test the module, took it to dealer- Estimate for diagnosis was $83- After 2 days of ‘diagnosing’ the dealer calls to inform me that the control module is bad, total cost = $1100 plus-
Now I know why I am such a hard head at searching ways to do my own repairs in spite of my lack of skill- Thank God for this forum and all who give advice- You have saved me tons over the years.
This is an example of why leading edge technology is often called “bleeding edge technology”
