Turn signals quit working

My turn signals have quit working in my car. I can flip the signal indicator, and the light on the back indicating the turn direction flips on but not the front. Brake lights and headlights are fine. Don’t know about the hazard lights. What could it be? Is this something I could replace myself or should I take it to a mechanic?

Check the bulb in the front. Check the electrical connection to the bulb in the front, including ground. Make sure there is current available to the bulb.

Your owner’s manual may have instructions and diagrams showing how to access the turn signal bulb(s).

Check to see which bulb(s) are out by turning on the 4-way flashers. That will force all front side and rear bulbs to flash unless they are burned out or bad connections.
