Is it totally smooth, or is there a small hole in it somewhere? If it’s got a hole, it’s probably a hands free phone mic.
If it’s totally smooth, it’s probably a receiver for a radio remote. Which is something I’ve never really understood in cars. Like, the radio is right there. Why do I need a remote?
