I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab with around 78,000 miles.
My problem is my truck dies sometimes when I’m turning into parking lots or parking spaces. This seems to happen when I slow down suddenly or when I’m just going slowly through a parking lot. As long as my RPMs are up I do fine. It has also died on me while at stop sign.
What’s going on here?
Auto or manual transmission?
Automatic
Have you had a CEL light? Have you had the fault codes read?
I’ve had that and had it fixed.
This has happen in the past and I had it fixed. I was told there was corrosion around the battery, but there isn’t any this time.
