Trouble starting my 2016 Hyundai Elantra

having problem starting car It is keyless remote you are supposed to put foot on brake and press while touching start button.

So what is the problem you are having?
What are the symptoms when you try to start it? Does it crank but not start?
What ever the problem, it MIGHT be covered by your powertrain warranty.

If you are pushing on the start button before stepping on the brake, it won’t start.

You must do it in the correct order

  1. Put foot on brake
    then
  2. Start button.

If you press start button first, then step on brake, then realize you did it backwards, you need to release the brake and remove finger from start button, then start over and in the correct order.
