My Accord recently started “clunking” when I come to a stop. It feels almost as if something tips over in the trunk after I stop. Yesterday, while driving at highway speed, the “clunking” started while I was driving. This felt as though the car lost traction for just a second. It did this 10+ times until I was driving for about 10 minutes. Any ideas?
What year? How many miles?
I’d be mor einclined to suspect a strut mount or even a CV joint.
Auto or Manual transmission ???
Have you engine/transmission mounts and CV joints inspected.
