I have a 1996 suburban 2 wd, 5.0 what are possible symptoms my transmission is going bad?
I could list things for days on that… What exactly is your transmission doing which makes you think its going out??

Well , had a stuck front brake caliper rcently and I think it may have put undue stress on the transmission, I guess.Then a spinning noise kind of like a pump spinning between the front seats, svc light came on and started sputtering on the freeway. Took it to my mechanic and gave it a diagnostic said it was indicating a sensor, svc light is no longer on but my suburban sputters when i get up to speed. I don’t hear any cling or clang but the whizzing/spinning noise persist in gear but not in neutral. I have 126 k on it, what could it be.
