Model year?

2002 f-150
95k miles
Trans. flushed @ dealer 3 mos. ago
full of fluid ,no smell

Was the transmission serviced (fluid and filter change) at 30k and at 60k?
If the first service that this transmission had was a flush–as opposed to a fluid and filter change–at 95k, that could be the source of the problem if the flush was not done properly.

Anyway, at this point, you need to get the truck to an independent transmission shop (NOT AAMCO, Lee Myles, Cottman, Mr. Transmission, or any other chain) for an assessment. It sounds like you have a trans overhaul in your near future, but only a transmission expert can tell this for sure. If you go to one of those chains, they will tell you that you need an overhaul whether you do or not.

Trans. was serviced on sch.ONe mistake i might have made was to leave it in cruise & let it down shift automatically when towing, even in hills. Don’t know if this could be a problem or what damage it may have done. thanks.
