I have a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country with 83,000 miles. For wuite some time, when accellerating, occasionally the transmission doesn’t shift smoothly, but stutters. The dealer has worked on it four or five times, the latest being changing a couple of small springs in the transmission, on the advice of Corporate Engineering. The dealer service manager has no other idea of what to do, except rebuild the transmission. Do you have any suggestions.
Rebuild or replace with a used or rebuilt transmission. These transmissions are notorious for being weak and failure-prone.
Live with it…When it no longer shifts AT ALL, then deal with it…
Have they changed the solenoid pack or even checked it??
