cracked slave cylinder line, how to remove from fitting/cylinder. mazda 5 speed tranny.

I believe it requires a tool to disconnect the line from the slave cylinder. Look at the above link.

jesus H ! What a horrible setup - from a maintenance viewpoint, you have to remove the tranny to change the slave cylinder ! I can understand the mechanical purism of such a system, but for a pickup truck ? Totally wrong, insert expletives where appropriate.
I believe that Peugeot is responsible for the engineering on the slave cylinder wrapped around the input shaft. It is common on Fords and Jeeps.
