Toyota Tacoma front wheel noise

I have a 2002 Toyato Tacoma that has a passenger side front wheel noise that only happens during right hand curves. the noise is a ch, ch, ch sound that varies with the speed of the vehicle and is more noticeable at higher speeds and sharper curves. There is no noticable brake noise driving straight with light or heavy pressure on the brakes. The noise reminds me of a brake shoe rub type sound, but only happens as discribed above. Another possibly unrelated problem is a slight shake in the steering wheel especially at speeds between 45 and 70 MPH, which I tried to remedy with a wheel balance which did not fix it. Any idea what this is? I have not had the wheel off due to the weather.
