My 2005 Highlander lift gate struts aren’t doing the job. Toyota wants $264 for a new pair. Has anyone out there found a generic set that fits. Or is there something I could do to make them work better. I just bought it 4 mo. ago.
This was a long time ago, but I once had some hood struts replaced at a Monrow Muffler for less money than it was going to cost than buying the parts elsewhere. Have you tried auto parts stores?
