Any ideas on what could make a Toyota sound like it has gunk in its’ intake? Mechanic had stethescope on it…clueless. It’s one of those “new noises”…could it leave me stranded?
What would while listening through a stethescope gunk on its “intake” sound like? Intake what? (valve ,runner ,plenum,air flow sensor) I have noticed on several different cars you can hear an air rushing sound that seems to be comming from the plenum no stethescope needed, it was just air moving. What made you want to start listening to your “intake” with a stethescope in the first place. You paid a mechanic to listen?
