would the tires on the tow vehicle be a factor in stability?? campers have special tires, they have stronger side walls–
nope 195/60r 13. .
they work great on my Kenworth.
of course theres a difference.
The load range of a tire is only one factor in regards to vehicle stability.
Just use the tires recommended for your vehicle.
Camper trailer/travel trailers, etc need those types of tires due to the forces put on the sidewalls when making sharp turns when spotting the trailers.
It’s called Load/Heat Rating. Most trucks like pickups or SUV’s only need a C load rated tire. If you carry a load then a D rated tire is recommended. Here’s a web page that explains it.
