Hey all, just wondering if 185-70-14’s will fit on my 99 escort sedan. It is “recommended” that 185-65-14’s be the one’s to go with BUT that says nothing about if the larger tires will fit and work fine. I’d like to find out before spending the dough to switch rims and then having to switch back if it doesn’t work. THANK YOU!
Yes they’ll work. The only difference is the sidewall of the new tire will be a little taller. Less than 3/8 of an inch.
