Timing belt, 2001 Ford Focus

At what mileage must I replace the timing belt in my 2001 Ford Focus??

It’s recommended that the timing belt be replaced every 120,000 miles.

Thank you so much Tester!! S, Chika

Tester–how about time. Don’t timing belts need replacing either by miles or time whichever comes first?

That’s not what the OP asked.

Jay brings up a good point. A 2001 belt is getting kind of old if it is the original. Check your owner's manual and it should tell you both miles and time. If you are wise you will do which ever comes FIRST. Waiting can be very expensive.
