Details have still not been provided but if the engine starts and dies, starts and dies, and then eventually runs ok then I go along with Tester on the drain-back valve being the cause.
That’s simple enough to check.
Fords don’t have a fuel pump circuit through an oil pressure sensor; or at least none of the Fords I own and have owned have had that feature.
It was somewhat common on GM cars quite a few years back.
