Sometimes when I drive, my car radio abruptly shuts off and the automatic windows fail to operate. After a minute or two, the radio will come back and the windows will work. I can’t take the car to a mechanic because I can’t reproduce the problem. What can I do?
check the fuses. One could be loose and cutting power to these systems.
I did and all the fuses look fine and don’t appear to be loose. The power isn’t being lost; it looks as though it is switching to theft-lock mode while I am driving. There is a red light that starts to flash near the radio after the radio cuts out, and the automatic windows don’t work.
