It looks like the pickup got hit more on the side. There doesn’t look to be any significant A pillar intrusion. It may have lost control and went off the left side of the road, then got back on further turning sideways going back toward the correct lane as the passenger van came by and smashed in to the area behind the left front wheel of the truck smashing in to the fuel tank area.
