Tara, Curtis, and baby Van?

Donovan for a boy.

What about Victoria Willa or Victor William?

Helen short for Hel’n Wheels - People wouldnt question it and you would have a nice little secret that wouldnt scar an innocent child

For a boy, the names Evan and Stevan (tweaked spelling) came to mind. Ivan - too Russian? For a girl - Ivana (too Trumpish?)

How about Ophelia? sort of sounds like Westphalia. Or Savanah, Savannah, Ivana, For boys names, I would go with Van, or Ivan. Best of luck.

As a mother I have to agree with Tara that I am not a fan of naming a child based on the location of conception. However, I felt compelled to chime in because I have a wonderful 4 year old son named Van. He was named after my grandfather, although it is a derivation (Evangelista). So, here are my quick selling points of the name Van:
ONE SYLLABLE - If your last name is long or has many syllables (like our own) it works quite nicely.
WORKS WITH ANY MIDDLE NAME - Except Allen, too much like Van Halen. Seriously, I had to talk my husband out of that one.
IT IS COOL! - Van Morrison, Van Johnson, If you really believe that names shape the person you cannot go wrong.

If it’s a girl, name her Ofalia Vanagon (Smith, or Jones or whatever). For a boy, name him Vanagon (Van for short), or Westfalia (Wes for short).

You can hide the word “van” as an inside story, without making it so obvious that people would ask the kid about it:

For a boy: Liev Andrew (Lie / van / drew)
For a girl: Liv Anne (Li / van / ne)

I think you missed a fanfare opportunity not once, but
twice. When Tara first mentioned that she and her van
dweller were expecting, THAT was a place to again play
the “stumper fanfare.” (I’ll acknowledge that you played
it twice, already, at this point). HOWEVER, when she later
implied that the baby-to-be may have very well been
conceived in the van, I think a double-fanfare was in
order, kid listeners notwithstanding.

how about Vicki Ann…then she can be V. Ann

Our friends who are. . .uhm. . . hippie like loved their Volkswagon bus, so they named their son using the V for the first name and W for the middle name, so he has a nickname, VW. His name is Vince White. Have fun with it and he will still love you!

Cavandien
It has a story and
you could make a lot of nick names out of it.

Wilma Van Gogh.

I love the name Savannah, I agree. Also: Evan, Evane (for a girl), giovanna, giovanni, vanya (for a girl, Russian for Ivan). I am also of the opinion that Vanessa is a sweet name, and subtle. I think you could pull this off if the name is a nice one despite having “van” in it. (: Good luck!

for a girl, how about Vanity

What’s the worry about the kid being teased over the origin of his or her name? You don’t have to tell the whole world about it, do you? Pick Van, Even, Vanessa, or Evangeline, and be done with it. Keep it your family secret. Go for a middle name like Wilson or William so the kid’s initials will be “V.W.” Hey. It could be justa coincidence as far as anyone knows, right?

VANCOUVER IS GENIUS!!! CANADIAN AND WITH “VAN” IN IT…I WOULD PICK THIS ONE!!!

My son and daughter were listening to the show together with me, and they immediately said Donovan - a great name.
