I have a 2008 model with 57k miles on it and I noticed that the suspension is squeaking/creaking when the coil are loaded and unloaded. I think I have narrowed it down to the drivers side front. What should I do? Is there a cheap and easy fix?
Thanks!
This is most likely to be a case of dry bushings.
Try having your mechanic lubricate the bushings on the anti-sway bar and all other suspension components. If the noise goes away, then you know that it was nothing serious–only an annoyance. The bushings will then need to be relubed periodically.
Incidentally, if you are using any non-OEM suspension modifications (such as a heavy aftermarket anti-sway bar), that is the likely source of the noise.
