My wife’s 93 Golf stutters (has intermittent losses of power). This usually happens when she’s been parked uphill, and begins driving up the hill. It sometimes continues for some time, even on the highway. It only seems to happen when it’s cold or hot, not in between. The mechanics can’t duplicate the problem when we take it in.
