I replaced the rear brake shoes in my 96 Chevy Blazer 4wd with Advanced Auto “Silver” grade, tested them, everything seemed OK. Next morning, and now every time the car sits for a few hours, the rear brakes grab violently the first couple of stops, then apply smoothly, but feel “sticky” when released. There are NO wheel cylinder leaks, everything looks clean. Adv Auto says it must be the hardware is installed wrongly. Any ideas?

The brake cylinders may be corroded.
