Our Dodge ram 1500 recently had the steering rack replaced, after much bickering with dealer, and finding out it was a common problem, Chrysler paid for part. We paid 600 in labor, so now barely over a year later, it has started to leak again. We had it checked by the dealer. They said the warranty just expired, so we would have to pay for replacement. I can’t believe a truck with only 51000 miles can go through 2 racks. We live and work in the same town. We don’t drive it that much, no off roading or anything like that. I am so frustrated I don’t know what to do. Any suggestions?
