my 1999 camry 4cyl wont start without before giving a clicking sound some times .sometimes it will start automatically.yeastarday night it was cold and when i try to start it this morning it keep clicking without starting
Sounds like a low battery or bad cable connections. Clean cables and battery terminals then reconnect. If it still clicks…jump start the vehicle and take it down to a major auto parts store like Autozone and have the battery checked.
i cleaned battery terminal and cables it didnt start it then i try to jump start it but it didn’t start
Try starting it with the gear shift in N. If it then starts, the park contact in the neutral safety switch is bad.
If it doesn’t crank, with jumpers connected, the ignition switch, or other part of the starter solenoid circuit if defective. Troubleshoot with appropriate instrument.
