In the last couple of weeks I have noticed that my 1998 Cherokee has be taking longer and longer to start up. I will have to turn the key and hold it until it starts, a good second or two before the engine starts. The amount of time that I have to turn and hold the key continues to get longer. It is September and I keep her in the garage, so I do not think it is the weather that is causing it. What could be causing this? What should I look at? Thank you very much for any insight!
Maybe you need a new battery. Get your current one checked.
