Stabilizer on '95 Mercedes E420 needs fixing, cost of labor and parts $155 fair?

My mechanic said my front left wheel stabilizer is broken. So when I drive and turn right, there’s a CLUNK under my left wheel.

The mechanic quoted me $155 for parts and labor…is that fair? Please advise. Thanks!

Assuming the diagnosis is correct, and it involves replacing a front suspension part (I’m not sure what a ‘front left wheel stabilizer’ is), then $155 doesn’t sound bad. Do you trust your mechanic? Has he been correct in the past?

Could very well be fair. As I remember is was $100.00 just to empty ash tray on a Mercedes
