The rear window squeaks like crazy. Tried pushing on window (from inside while someone else is driving). Tried closing it on a rag. No difference. Always bad on bumpy road but also on moderately smooth road. Can’t really pin-point the sound. Seems likes it’s all the way around it. Rubber issue? Any ideas?
Are you sure its the window and not some other nearby part? If you can’t make the noise change by pushing on it then I suspect something else is loose.
It sounds like it is coming from all around the window. Maybe the gasket? It’s not a rattle like you might expect if it were a metal or plastic part. Definitely a squeak.
