Squeeking and Scraping sounds as I drive at any speed

My Honda Civic DX (1997) is over 200k. Over the past six months, it’s been to the repair shop multiple times including each of the brake pads, shoes were replaced. Nowadays, it’s making a squeeking and scraping noise as the vehicle is moving at any speed. The squeek comes and next the scraping. The sound is becoming more pronounced, it seems, daily. Any suggestions about what the problem is coming from?

Sounds like a brake or wheel bearing problem…Putting the car up on a lift and spinning the wheels should find the problem quickly. You can do this yourself with your jack…You lift each wheel in turn until you find the problem…Take some basic safety precautions so the car does not roll off the jack while you are conducting your inspection…
