It started as a moan coming from under the car on the driver side. That was 6 months ago. Now it is a squeal/screech…it sounds like metal on metal that needs lubrication. Chrysler Sebring, 92K. Is it tie rods (whatever those are)? Will my wheels fall off?

Does it happen as you turn the steering wheel?
Worn brake pads (brake wear indicators touching the rotor) or, perhaps a worn wheel bearing. Have the right wheel/brake checked out.
No, it happens all the time…sounds like a rusty spring. Very annoying. I know I have to bring it in for service…just don’t know who to trust.
